What kind of foundation do I need for my shed?
The best and least expensive of all shed foundations is a
level gravel pad about 3 to 4" thick. The pad itself needs to
be 1 foot wider on all sides than the shed itself. This will
allow for proper drainage redirecting water down through the
pad and away ffrom the shed. A gravel pad will also virtually
eliminate any settling issues because the shed itself is
completely supported by the pad. The next option is concrete
block placed on top of the ground to support the shed. This
is an inferior foundation compared to the gravel pad and
often results in the shed settling and sinking over time.
However we will level your shed this way with customer
supplied blocks.
Do I need a permit for my shed?
This will depend upon the area the shed is being delivered
